Neches Regional Flood Planning Existing Flood Risk Public Comment Meeting

Date: Tuesday, Jan. 11, 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.
Location: Center for Innovation, Commercialization and Entrepreneurship (CICE) Training Room 113

The Center for Resiliency invites the public to attend the open house style meeting where representatives will be on hand to discuss the first-ever State Flood Plan and receive input from the public. The meeting will display the existing flood risk conditions for the Neches Flood Planning Region.


Remembering Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Date: Thursday, Jan. 20, 4-6 p.m.
Location: Mary and John Gray Library 8th floor-Plummer Room

Please join the Office of Diversity and Inclusion as we honor the legacy of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The guest speaker is Beaumont City Councilman Albert "A.J." Turner. The theme is "It starts with me."

Tom Maes - Construction Started on January 6, 2022

COVID19 Vaccines
COVID-19 Vaccines Available

Free COVID-19 vaccines (Moderna and Pfizer) are available at the Student Health Center to all Lamar University/LIT students, faculty and staff. You must register for an appointment. 

The Student Health Center is also offering COVID-19 booster vaccines for eligible students, faculty and staff for LU and LIT campuses. Eligibility criteria can be found on the CDC website. Please fill out the registration form for an appointment.
